I FIND SPACE

I DEFINE SPACE

I MAKE SPACE DIVINE

Inevitably, people who need organizing say that they need more storage space and are even considering spending extra money on an outside storage unit. This is almost never the case. Once what is stored in cabinets, closets and inaccessible areas is pulled out and analyzed, it is discovered that many forgotten items no longer needed are taking up useful space. When the area is cleared of unused/unwanted items and those remaining are put away using the space to the optimum efficiency, there is rarely a need for additional storage.

After helping my clients choose the way a room or particular space will be used, it becomes more defined for their purposes. If a space has multiple purposes like a guest room doubling as an office, it can easily become cluttered if there are not distinct areas for putting things away. Similarly, when there is no designated for tasks that you do all the time, such as pay bills and deal with mail and paper, then the result can be using the dining room table to do this, storing files in magazine racks or on the floor. Then you never get to eat at the table. Defining and organizing space will help keep your world in order.

My talent for organizing space is innate. Seeing the potential of a room, redesigning it when necessary, placing furniture and decor to the best advantage, is not only an ability, it is a passion. An awkwardly laid-out room that requires maneuvering like an obstacle course is unpleasant and inefficient to be in and to use. I believe your space should be efficient, organized and that you should delight in its comfort an beauty -- it should be divine.
